Root beer floats, the weight room, makeup and hand lotion, penny slots and a sauna, lazy mornings and movies, ranting, silence and tears helped me find my little sister. She was not where I thought I left her a few years back, or maybe it was even longer ago. I felt her in a space less defined by my placement of her in my life and much more defined by everything about her. And it was good.

"She was not where I thought I left her a few years back..." When I read these words, I wondered of my own life and relationships, how many people ever are where we thought we left them? You are both such beautiful women; the picture you share here speaks celebration in the finding. I am glad (and maybe a bit envious) for you both. Oh, and by the way ... Wow! "Sisters" would not have to be said. -mg
